BY BOOKING OR ATTENDING ANY DRIVING LESSON YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE BELOW TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Payment due is to be made at the start of the lesson by cash or card only. Lesson prices may be subject to change and reasonable notice will be given of such changes. Please note that block bookings are non-refundable.
2. You will be charged for lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice and no further lessons will be booked until this has been paid. You will not be charged for lessons cancelled by myself due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or breakdown etc. Please note that further lessons cannot be guaranteed should your allocated slot become unsuitable.
3. If you are late to a lesson, it will still finish at the prearranged time and the time for being late will be lost. If you have not arrived within 10 minutes of your lesson start time and there has been no contact from yourself, the lesson will not go ahead and will be charged for. If I am late to a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic etc, it will still go ahead from the time I arrive or rescheduled if inconvenient for either of us. Please note that lessons must start/finish at the prearranged locations and cannot be changed.
4. Further lessons may be refused if:
You continuously cancel them
You do not demonstrate appropriate behaviour or concentration
You do not comply with these terms and conditions
5. You must declare any notifiable disabilities or medical conditions to the DVLA and meet the standards of vision for driving (be able to read a car number plate made after 1 September 2001 from 20 metres). You must not attend lessons if you are taking medication that affects driving or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
6. You are fully insured to drive my car providing you have not:
Been involved in any motoring claims, accidents or losses (regardless of blame)
Had any motoring convictions including fixed penalty notices or have any prosecutions pending or police enquires outstanding
Ever had a policy cancelled, renewal refused, or been asked to bear a special term or condition
It is your responsibility to inform me of any changes that may affect the validity of my insurance and further online checks of your provisional driving licence may be requested by myself at any time.
7. You will only be granted use of my car for a driving test once you meet the standards required to pass. Use of my car can be refused at any time if you are not safe to proceed with your driving test or if you have not kept up with the necessary lessons required and you will be liable for the loss of test payment to the DVSA as a result.
8. Every effort will be made to train you to the highest standards as set out by the DVSA, however you will be liable for any driving errors you commit outside of lessons, including after passing your driving test.
9. GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
Your personal details will not be shared with any third party without your prior consent. These details will be held until you pass your driving test or no longer require lessons and thereafter be deleted/destroyed.
